Sandra Gaviria

Sandra has a BA in Translation from the University of Antioquia in Colombia and an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Alberta.  She is passionate about languages and she has been teaching English and Spanish for more than 11 years. She is also a certified Spanish-English-Spanish translator for the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta.    

 

She has taught Spanish at the University of Alberta for over 4 years and was awarded the Graduate Student Teaching Award in 2013.  She loves being able to spread the Spanish language and culture in Edmonton.
