What is the difference between online and in-person classes?Online classes are delivered in real-time via Zoom, allowing direct interaction with the instructor and classmates from the comfort of your home. In-person classes are held at McKernan School, offering a traditional classroom learning experience. Both modalities cover the same curriculum content.

Levels 1, 2, and 3 use the book "Aula Internacional Plus 1 - English Edition"; Levels 4, 5, and 6 use "Aula Internacional Plus 2"; and Level 7 uses "Aula Internacional Plus 3" For more details about the required materials, visit our Curriculum section.

What course levels are offered, and how can I take a placement test?EHBA offers a comprehensive range of courses, spanning seven levels: Level 1 (Beginner) to Level 8 (Advanced) Plus, an Advanced Conversation Course for those looking to refine their speaking skills further. To determine the level that best suits you, we offer a convenient online placement test. When does the next course start?Our upcoming Winter Courses begin in January 2025, with two flexible options: Option 1: Online Course Dates: January 15 – March 26, 2025 (No class on Family Day weekend) Schedule: Wednesdays: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. (MT) Saturdays: 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. (MT) Total: 30 hours of class time Features: Live and interactive sessions Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Option 2: In-Person Classes (at McKernan School) Dates: January 7 – March 18, 2024 Schedule: Tuesdays: 6:15 – 9:00 p.m. Total: 27 hours of class time Features: Includes a class recess to engage with students from other levels Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and now offering Levels 7 and 8! Choose the format that best suits your needs and start your learning journey with us!
